Is Mary Jane Headed for an Outdoor Climax, Sans Her Kitty, on Y&R?

The Young and the Restless executive producer/co-head writer Maria Arena Bell was quite the Chatty Catty, er Cathy (Sorry, poor, dead Mr. Kitty is on my mind), in this week's edition of Soaps in Depth. Auntie Ri Ri managed to dodge several questions about long dangling Genoa City plot threads, ie. Will Paul (Doug Davidson) ever learn Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) mowed him down like a stray blade of grass? Will the soap ever address the fact that only Nick (Joshua Morrow) saw Summer's DNA test? Will the unforgettable Drucilla Barber Winters (Victoria Rowell) ever return to the sudser?

Here are a couple a' questions I would have thrown at one of my favorite scribes: Why is it okay to show a psycho, fruit loop kissing a baby with toxic peanut butter cookie crumbs on her lips, yet Adam (Michael Muhney) and Rafe (Yani Gelman) get "steamy hugs" and fades to black? American soap audiences can handle child abuse, pet murder, slutty kleptomaniacs and incest betwixt their Good Morning America and Goodbye Peapack, but we can't handle two guys kissing?

Here's another very important question for Auntie Ri Ri: When will Mary Jane (the delicious Stacy Haiduk) punish that wicked, wicked Tyra (Eva Marcille) for wearing Mr. Kitty on her head during the Top Model's god awful, incestuous romp with Devon (Bryton Jamesthis past week?

Auntie Ri Ri also spilled news of a "great remote at the end of summer" to SID. Sources blabbed to the mag, the scenes were shot in L.A.'s Franklin Canyon Park and could involve storyline climaxes (Meow!) featuring Adam (Michael Muhney), Victor (Eric Braeden) and Mary Jane.

In other Y&R-related news from SID, Beth Maitland is returning to the soap as youngest Abbott daughter Traci, and bringing her hubby Steve (Greg Wrangler) with her.  Now, the magazine is reporting Traci and Steve are back to support Ashley (Eileen Davidson), but Traci's daughter Colleen (the soon-to-be-exiting for Disney pastures Tammin Sursok) has also had quite the rough go of it of late, thanks to Ashley's hubby...
