Mutual of Omaha is dropping its lawsuit against the daytime queen Oprah Winfrey, according to The Associated Press. The issue arose from the use of the "aha moment". Documents filed in U.S. District Court did not specify why the insurance company decided against pursuing the case.
Mutual of Omaha produced documented proof it had obtained preliminary approval to use the term in a national advertising campaign last year. Winfrey's Harpo Productions argued that the phrase "official sponsor of the aha moment" is synonymous with her organization. No further comment was released from either side.
