First off, let me just say that I’m not sure if it’s my television, but I found the lighting very dark for this episode. So much so, that I had a hard time seeing what exactly happened during the shoot out, nor did I see James Franco smile and wave.
Speaking of Franco, welcome to Port Charles James Franco!! He cleans up quite nicely. I like that he’s a bit weird, although I’m not sure that I liked that he stepped on Joey Limbo’s neck and essentially finished him off. Lost fans will recognize the girl he was with as Naomi. They make a rather hot couple. Strange, but hot.
It was good to see Kate for five seconds of her Crimson/art exhibition storyline. Good to see Jackal/McCall honor their commitment to providing security for the show, despite both of them wanting to back out at the last minute to hold Jason’ s hand in his latest crisis.
While I understand that Johnny is shocked at the Dante news and he feels his world is falling apart, what exactly did he expect from Olivia. This is her son were talking about. I hope he clears his head, realizes which side his bread is buttered on, and teams up with Dante to bring Sonny down.
Speaking of Sonny, that whole, “I only kill those that deserve to be killed” was a load of crap. I’m glad Dante questioned him on it.
I was glad to see Lucky turn into a good cop while investigating the crime scene (although it took the police long enough to get there, considering we heard sirens almost as soon as the shooting started!!). Too bad Lucky can’t use those investigating skills when he’s with the lying liar who lies.
