General Hospital’sKimberly McCullough returned to the Daytime Confidential Top 20 countdown in July for the first time since April 2009, when she earned a spot at No. 11.

As the World Turns’Maura West was one of two Oakdale stars to earn a spot on July’s Daytime Confidential Top 20. No ATWT actor made the DC Top 20 in June, but in May, Eric Sheffer Stevens appeared at No. 17.

Those three months tie her with All My Children’s Alicia Minshew for the second highest number of months at No. 1, after Crystal Chappell’s record setting five non-consecutive months. No. 1: Sharon Case, The Young and the Restless

In July The Young and the Restless’Sharon Case became the seventh Y&R star to take the crown as the No. 1 ranked Daytime Confidential Top 20 star. Other current and former No. 1 Y&R stars include Eric Braeden, Melody Thomas Scott, Christel Khalil, Raya Meddine, Victoria Rowell and Don Diamont.

Will Case be able to hold onto the top spot in August? She has her work cut out for her. Former DC Top 20 No. 1 ranked actresses Vanessa Marcil and Alicia Minshew return to their respective shows in August. After three months at No. 1, fellow Y&R star Christel Khalil could reclaim the spot and, just when one least expects it, news could break that skyrockets another star out of nowhere into the mix. August’s Daytime Confidential Top 20 should be very interesting.
