Mini Ratings Rave: General Hospital TIES Young and Restless Among Women 18-49!!

While I'm sitting here chewing on my nails, waiting for Toups to post the full ratings for the week of Feb. 21 over at Soap Opera Network, I'll have to settle for an ABC press release for now. According to the Mouse House, General Hospital was the No. 1 program among women 18-49 for the week, tied with CBS Daytime's The Young and the Restless at 1.3 in the most coveted demo. This was the first time GH was at the top of W18-49 since Oct. of 2008.  Well, it took long enough, but it looks like the return of Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo (Brenda) and/or the stunt casting of the worst Academy Awards host in history aka James Franco (Franco) finally paid off! For ABC's press release in full keep reading after the jump.
