I couldn’t be happier. Two of my favorite soap villains–Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) and Janet From Another Planet (Kate Collins)–are back on General Hospital and All My Children respectively this week.  While I’m all for a good, diabolical story of Helena, Janet or any other soap villain terrorizing their respective fictional cities, not everyone feels as I do.

Many fans often complain such characters, not to mention the likes of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) and Adam Newman (Michael Muhney), are never brought to justice, or forced to truly pay for their crimes.

Dick Wolf’s Law & Order franchise has made Wolf and NBC a fortune over the years, by telling stories where dedicated cops solve crimes and criminals are then put away by take-no-prisoners district attorneys. Just like Law & Order detectives, who search for the truth and know the details of their investigations, soap fans know the ins and outs of their favorite–or not so favorite–soap villains' crime. Now it is time for you to play judge, jury and executioner.
