Good Morning America's Ratings Close in on The Today Show

It looks like the ratings race between NBC’s Today Show and ABC’s Good Morning America is getting a bit more interesting. According to the Wall Street Journal, GMA “moved to within a daily average of 397,000 viewers of Today” during premiere week in September. In its coverage of the WSJ’s article, The Hollywood Reporter reveals Today’s average lead over GMA shrank to just 270,000 viewers last week. However, it isn’t all bad news for NBC's money maker. Reportedly, “it continues to dominate among the core viewers aged 25 to 54 years.”
