Ex-General Hospital Scribe Michele Val Jean Joins The Bold and the Beautiful Writing Team!





Kudos to former General Hospital writer Michele Val Jean, who has joined the writing team of CBS Daytime's The Bold and the Beautiful

“I am pleased to announce that Michele Val Jean will be joining our writing team,” said B&B showrunner Brad Bell in a statement. “With her vast wealth of knowledge, experience, and creativity, Michele is sure to be a significant addition to The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Val Jean is bringing with her 18 years of experience writing for the characters on GH. In 2001, she was the first black American to ever hold the position of co-head writer of a daytime drama series. Val Jean, who also wrote for Santa Barbara and Generations, is most famous for having penned the storylines that revisited Luke Spencer's rape of Laura and the rape of a teenage Elizabeth Webber on GH.
