SOAP BYTES: “Mommy Knew Too,” Dr. Hairy Chest Returns and So Long to The Lady in White

Y&R BYTES: Avery (Jessica Collins): “Mommy knew too! Mommy knew too!” SERIOUSLY? This is what The Young and the Restless has come to? The amazing Michelle Stafford does not deserve this. It's unforunate TV watchers can't demand a refund on their investment.

Kevin (Greg Rikaart) doesn’t want to keep up the marital charade with Angelina (Diana DeGarmo) and neither does anyone else. Enough already. Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin are cute, but I’d love to see a Kevin/Chloe/Billy (Billy Miller) triangle again. Too bad that isn’t going to happen.

DAYS BYTES:  Nicole (Arianne Zucker) finds out EJ (James Scott) cheated on her with Sami (Alison Sweeney) and the first man she ends up running into is Dr. Hairy Chest (Shawn Christian). No, just no. Daniel is another character that can leave Salem and never come back.

Sami is so consumed by her own life she’s blind to the truth about her son. When Marlena asked her if she really didn’t see what was going on, Sami’s ignorance was painful.

Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will’s (Chandler Massey) friendship provides a nice dynamic in Will’s story, but I don’t want to see them as a pair. At least not anytime soon. Will’s journey is far from over and it would be too easy if they ended up together.

The summer isn’t that far off and the pre-req teen storyline would provide a great opportunity for Will to do some exploring.  I say bring in a variety of different characters. Let Will sow his wild oats and give fans an opportunity to see chemistry testing play out onscreen.

Carrie (Christie Clarke) is defending Sami. The reverse wouldn’t happen if the shoe was on the other foot.

B&B BYTES: Much like Days of Our Lives’ Sami, one of the nice things about Amber (Adrienne Frantz) is that her crazy is consistent. Now that she has it in her mind that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) could spoil to her desired reunion with Rick (Jacob Young), it'is only a matter of time before one of her schemes spirals out of control.

Rick and Steffy still ooze chemistry.

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) must really be getting tired of dealing with Steffy. She’s had to defend her sister’s marriage to Bill (Don Diamont) and her daughter’s relationship with Liam (Scott Clifton) from Steffy’s advances. Now she has to worry about Rick falling for her again. Maybe Brooke should go have a session on Taylor’s (Hunter Tylo) couch? Like that will happen.

Come on Stephanie (Susan Flannery), you have better things to be doing than worrying about Steffy, Liam and everyone else over the age of 40 in Los Angeles.

Where is Felicia? I need more Lesli Kay on my TV screen pronto.

GH BYTES: HOT DAMN! That’s my Helena (Constance Towers); have your own daughter shot! Maybe now Helena will return to being the constant lethal force of nobility General Hospital needs.

Kirsten Alderson was on fire today! Her performance reminded me a bit of when Victor Jr. (Trevor St. John) beat Cole (Brandon Buddy) to a pulp.  What was your first impression of Michael (Chad Duell) and Starr as a potential YA couple? It was brief, but loaded with potential. Michael had better save Hope, because if he doesn’t I don’t want to think about the repercussions.

Lulu (Julie Marie Berman) needs rehab and I’m not talking about her drinking problem, I'm meaning character rehab. Here's hoping Shrew-Lu becomes a likable character again, now that a new regime is in charge.

Matt (Jason Cook) to Maxie (Jen Lilley): “Everytime you try to help someone, people end up getting hurt.”

We may have not seen the body, but is seeing Robin’s (Kimberly McCullough) "ghost" enough to convince us she's actually dead? I sure hope not, but if so, it would have been nice for Alan's (Stuart Damon) ghost to have helped her crossover.
