Y&R BYTES: Poor Jack (Peter Bergman), Genevieve (Genie Francis) is going to use their impending marriage to roast him like a pig on a spit now that she's found out about his betrayal. Genevieve is an excellent lurker isn’t she? Too bad he won’t listen to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott).
Victor (Eric Braeden): “Billy Abbott, you son of a bitch. This is all your doing.”
Sheesh. Victor really doesn’t like Billy (Billy Miller), does he?!
It’s so good to have Miller back on The Young and the Restless. I particularly appreciate the dynamic between Abby (Marcy Rylan) and her uncle.
So Adam (Michael Muhney) is back to skulking about in shadows. Why didn’t he just come out, admit he had saved the baby and put that sanctimonious Victoria (Amelia Heinle) in her place?
Yep, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker (Stephen Nichols) need to break up. They spend way too much time arguing to be interesting.
DAYS BYTES: I like a jealous Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) defending Sami (Alison Sweeney) and her passel of children from EJ (James Scott). It felt good to hear Lucas rubbing Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) pregnancy into EJ’s wound. Of course it was just as delicious when EJ started questioning the real reason why Lucas is sticking around Salem.
Lucas to Nicole and Rafe (Galen Gering): “You two need to get a room. Oh wait, you already did.”
Ian (Ian Buchanan) treats Madison (Sarah Brown) like he purchased her online. He keeps telling her he won’t let her out of their marriage, then, because of Kate’s glittery hoo hoo, he’s willing to set her free. Kate must have been worth every penny back in her hooker days.
Ian may not be afraid of Stefano (Joseph Mascolo), but he should be. News sure travels fast from Salem to Alamania doesn’t it?
GH BYTES: Starr (Kristen Alderson) is ready and raring to testify at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) trial, isn’t she? I’ve said it before and I’m going to say it again. Starr and Michael (Chad Duell) just aren’t clicking onscreen for me. GH needs to find new love interests for Starr and Michael, or at least introduce someone new for a triangle.
Starr really isn't the problem; it's Michael. It boggles my mind that a son of Carly (Laura Wright) and AJ—raised by Sonny—ended up so uninteresting! If Carly and Johnny (Brandon Barash) weren’t so hot together, I’d suggest him as a love interest for Starr. How do you solve a problem like Starr and Michael?
Monica (Leslie Charleson) and Alice (Bergen Williams) weren't in the mood to celebrate Tracy's (Jane Elliot) birthday. Luke (Tony Geary), however, was! I about died when he presented her that riding crop. Even after I realized it was for an actual pony's hind quarters, and not Tracy's, it still made for an amazing B-Day for daytime's eldest daddy's girl.
The classical music Heather (Robin Mattson) is listening to reminds me of something Helena (Constance Towers) might have playing, as she prepares to slit a throat. Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) had better watch out.
Jason (Steve Burton) sure has a big case of denial. He wants to brush everything that happened with Franco (James Franco) under the rug, but Sam (Kelly Monaco) just won’t let it happen.
