Y&R BYTES: Ewww, just ewww! Victor (Eric Braeden) and Sharon (Sharon Case) kissed in his office and it made me cringe. DVRs should start coming with early detection warning systems—like for tornados, hurricanes and tsunamis—for crap like that. #SaveSharonFromBeingMauledByPawPaw
Sharon: “I kissed you and I don’t regret it.”
Thank goodness for Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) sibling dynamic. After Sharon and Victor’s gross exchange, the Abbott scenes were the only thing that kept me from running to the bathroom and barfing.
Harmony (Debbi Morgan) drove a drunken Tucker (Stephen Nichols) home. We all knew where that was going to end up. Every time I see Nichols on Y&R I find myself wishing he’d return to General Hospital as Stefan Cassadine.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) ended up in the hospital, questioning whether-or-not she’s actually pregnant. The doctor told her she still is. Another Newman is on the way!
What do you think of Kyle (Blake Hood) and Eden (Jessica Heap)? I’ve been impressed by Kyle so far, but I’ve never warmed up to Heap as Eden. Maybe this storyline will help change my impression of her? I'm not holding my breath.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Jack realized they can’t see each other anymore. So sad. They better get back together.
Neil (Kristoff St. John) admitted he has feelings for Harmony. What on Earth will Sofia (Julia Pace Mitchell) do now?
DAYS BYTES: Days of our Lives has been reduced to Austin (Patrick Muldoon) scrapbooking his love for Carrie (Christie Clarke)? Billie (Lisa Rinna) wasn’t the only one confused by this.
Who else thinks Charles Shaughnessy’s Shane Donovan needs to stick around Salem for a long time? He is such an engaging actor.
Lucas (Bryan Datillo) told Will (Chandler Massey) about getting back together with Sami (Alison Sweeney). Will wasn’t pleased about it. Presumably, Will was going to tell Lucas about being gay, but his father’s news stopped him in his tracks.
Will: “I’m going through some stuff, but I don’t want to talk about that. I want to talk about you getting into a dead end relationship again and you’re destroying your life, again.”
Lucas took Will to Sami’s, where Sami apologized to Will for being selfish, hurting him and messing up their family.
Will: “How long is it going to be before you break dad’s heart again?
Sami: “That’s not going to happen.”
Will: “Yeah it will, because you never change. No matter how many promises you make or how hard you do sincerely try, you always end up making the same stupid mistakes.”
A trap door to a fortified basement saved the Fab Four and the two Snore Bores. It’s a good thing Rafe (Galen Gering) discovered the miracle hatch, because that wall of furniture looked like it would have turned to splitters during the explosion.
GH BYTES: We need to see much, much more of Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). She arrived at Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house demanding the lawyer’s help in divorcing Anthony (Bruce Weitz). Daytime Confidential’s Jamey Giddens suggested on a recent podcast that General Hospital needs to get Wally Kurth back as Ned Ashton. He is so right. There is absolutely no reason the Quartermaines can’t be rebuilt around Tracy, by bringing back Ned, Brook Lynn (Adrianne Leon) and a recast Dillon.
The best moment on Monday’s soaps was Tracy throwing the money back at Alexis. Hilarious!
Michael (Chad Duell) stopped Starr (Kristen Alderson) from shooting Sonny (Maurice Benard), but later called the cops on her? I’m sure he’s going to say it’s for her own good, but this is ridiculous. Not only is he a killer, but he’s tried countless times to convince Sonny to let him get “into the business.” The same business that would require him to order the murder of other individuals.
There was a shoot out at the Haunted Star. John McBain (Michael Easton) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) galloped to Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Lulu’s (Julie Marie Berman) rescue.
Later, Jason (Steve Burton) walked in on Sam in John’s arms.
Starr kissed Johnny (Brandon Barash) on the cheek! Please let this be headed in a romantic direction, pretty please.
Hopefully Kate (Kelly Sullivan) gets the help she so desperately needs.
B&B BYTES: Stephanie (Susan Flannery) was shocked by Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) revelation that she signed the annulment papers. She was even more surprised by Liam (Scott Clifton) having ripped up the papers and kissing her granddaughter.
It wouldn’t be an episode of The Bold and the Beautiful without Bill (Don Diamont) giving Liam a hard time about the women in his life.
Meanwhile, Hope decided to move out of Liam’s home until she’s a newlywed. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) proposed Hope (Kim Matula) and Liam get married in Italy. Road trip!
