GH BYTES: Monday was heaven for this Liason fan. Jason (Steve Burton) and Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) scenes were so enjoyable, I completely forgot about the fact Jason has been a giant prick to Sam (Kelly Monaco). The way Liason looked at one another during that simple conversation gave me shivers. I rewatched it several times. Jason and Elizabeth need to reunite ASAP.
Later, Elizabeth visited Patrick (Jason Thompson) to convince him to help Ewen (Nathin Butler). Patrick is still spiraling out of control, but Epiphany’s (Sonya Eddy) earlier attempt to get him out of the house failed. Hopefully, he gets help soon.
Does anyone else appreciate that General Hospital has brought back its next day promos? They are so great to see at the end of each episode. I didn't realize how much I'd missed them until they were brought back.
Tea (Florencia Lozano) and Carly (Laura Wright) faced off for the first time. While it wasn’t an epic confrontation, it definitely set things up for the future. Then Tea popped up at John McBain’s (Michael Easton) room, where McBam were sizzling like butter in a skillet.
Heather (Robin Mattson) is a first class nut job and I’m terrified what she’ll do to Anna (Finola Hughes) if she sees her getting in the way of her desire for Luke (Anthony Geary). Heather had better not do anything to the children, or there will be blood.
Y&R BYTES: Daisy (Yvonne Zima) caught Daniel (Michael Graziadei) kissing Eden (Jessica Heap). Too bad he forgot to tell Eden he married Daisy. Poor Eden is now in Daisy’s sights. Then again, if Daisy killed Eden we’d have one less pointless character on The Young and the Restless. Hopefully Daisy ends up dead soon as well. Maybe Ricky (Peter Porte) will help with both problems?
Eden to Abby (Marcy Rylan): “Were those words too big for you? Well, here’s some you’ll understand. Back off bitch!”
Meanwhile, Daniel’s marriage to Daisy is driving Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to the brink. What is a mother grizzly like Phyllis to do about her new daughter-in-law?
Tucker (Stephen Nichols) went crying to Ashley (Eileen Davidson) to beg for forgiveness. For some reason I doubt he’ll get it.
I really enjoyed how Abby encouraged Ashley to take Tucker for all he’s worth. She didn’t sign a prenup after all!
Jack (Peter Bergman) believed he’d felt his toe move, but the doctor dashed his hopes. Poor man.
DAYS BYTES: I’m not a fan of Rafe (Galen Gering) and Carrie (Christie Clarke), but all I could think as Roman (Josh Taylor) was chastising Rafe, was for him to tell Carrie's dad to shut up and mind his own business. Why did I react that way?
How much do you want to bet Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) trip to Italy isn’t on location, like The Bold and the Beautiful’s will be? Will Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) henchman catch them and discover they aren’t dead?
Meanwhile, Lexie (Renee Jones) taped a touching video for Theo to watch when he gets older. Watching this story makes me feel compassion for those who lose their parents at a young age.
B&B BYTES: Amber (Adrienne Frantz) was impressive on Monday. She successfully transferred her lipstick to Rick’s (Jacob Young) lips, just in time for Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) to arrive and see it. Then, after Caroline left, Amber kissed Rick again and magically got all of the lipstick back on her, without leaving a smudge on either of them. It never fails to amaze me how impressive Amber can be at manipulating someone to get what she wants. Surely it takes skill to do what she did?
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) rushed to confront Liam (Scott Clifton) after she learned he tore up the annulment papers in Aspen. After Brooke’s many years of being caught between Forrester men, and others like Nick (Jack Wagner), should she really be acting so superior to Liam? If Liam is wishy-washy, Brooke is liquid.
