Y&R BYTES: Cane (Daniel Goddard) received confirmation his father was still in Australia, much to Lily’s (Christel Khalil) relief. However, the mystery surrounding what happened to his mother’s money still has Cane searching for answers. He asked Kevin for help.
Carmine (Marco Dapper) wanted to see if Kevin (Greg Rikaart) would help him get his job back at Gloworm. Abby (Marcy Rylan) convinced him to let her take a stab at convincing Gloria (Judith Chapman) to rehire him. Carmine went against Abby’s advice and tried his luck with Kevin.
Abby was not happy when she overheard Ashley (Eileen Davidson) contemplating letting Tucker (Stephen Nichols) back into her life, yet not being able to forgive her own daughter.
Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) previewed the new features Kevin had developed on the website to Adam (Michael Muhney) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). While the features were exciting, the quad hasn’t come up with a name for the new venture. Chloe said, “You’d think it would be the easiest part, but it’s not.” Ain’t that the truth.
I love Gloria, but this story about whether or not Jeffrey (Ted Shackelford) is still married to Anita (Catherine Bach) sucks.
DAYS BYTES: Austin (Patrick Muldoon) told Kate (Lauren Koslow) he and Carrie (Christie Clark) are leaving Salem. Meanwhile, Carrie was telling Rafe (Galen Gering) how he taught her what real love means. I threw up a little in my mouth watching the scenes. I’m so glad Austin and Carrie are leaving. If only Rafe and Gabi (Camila Banus) were going with them.
Sami (Alison Sweeney) arrived at the DiMera mansion where Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) spent the night—not in bed together—but trying to find evidence clearing EJ (James Scott) of killing Stefano (Joseph Mascolo).
Will: “Look, I’m not a little kid anymore.”
Sami: “Then stop acting like one.”
Will: “I believe is his (EJ) innocence.”
Days of Our Lives really needs to have Will fall for EJ. The subtext from their dialogue often implies it and Massey and Scott have great onscreen chemistry.
Sami told EJ that Stefano had never stopped loving him.
Meanwhile, deep in the tunnel, Melanie’s (Molly Burnett) kidnapper let her remove his mask. She told him she thought he was very handsome. Is she trying to butter him up to make it easier to escape or is she suffering from Stockholm Syndrome? I don't care.
GH BYTES: Patrick (Jason Thompson) continued to insist he would be fine, but Lulu (Julie Marie Berman) said he had to earn her trust. She tried to make him understand the impact the drugs were having on him. Then Lulu wanted him to go to General Hospital to detox, but he resisted.
Lulu and Patrick have been spending a lot of time together, haven’t they?
Carly (Laura Wright) heard Todd (Roger Howarth) throwing things in his hotel room and used her master key to get into his room. Later, Todd and Carly started comparing war stories and reputations. No question Todd wins the bad reputation competition.
Mac (John J. York) thought it was a bit much for Maxie (Jen Lilley) to move in with Patrick, but she basically told him her life sucks and being at Patrick’s is where she needs to be.
Starr Manning (Kristen Alderson) has been eating a lot of ice cream lately. Blair (Kassie DePaiva) told her daughter that Todd proposed to her. Starr asked Blair if her parents would have a chance, if Blair wasn’t engaged to Tomas (Ted King). Blair said she’d always love Todd, but she can’t trust him.
Anna (Finola Hughes) was worried about Luke’s (Anthony Geary) gunshot injury. Lulu arrived at the hospital, where Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) told her what had happed to her dad.
Heather (Robin Mattson) called Todd from the PCPD. She left him a message claiming she’s the victim of the PCPD. You have to just love Heather, even as she’s being held for questioning, she did not take any responsibility for her actions.
B&B BYTES: After just one day this week without Hope/Liam/Steffy, Hope (Kim Matula) and Liam (Scott Clifton) sucked more air out of The Bold and the Beautiful on Tuesday. I dare B&B to go a week without airing the trio.
Dayzee (Kristolyn Lloyd) claimed she would never get tired of kissing Marcus (Texas Battle). I wonder how long that will last after she finds out the truth about him mowing down Anthony?
Dayzee: “He (Anthony) must have had a good reason for not coming.”
He sure did have a good reason; your husband ran him over!
Thomas (Adam Gregory) spoke with Marcus on the phone and encouraged him not to tell Dayzee what happened to Anthony. Why did I get the sinking feeling Thomas is going to be collateral damage in all this?
Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) told Thomas how much she appreciated him being honest with her about what Marcus had done. Later the pair went to visit Anthony in the hospital. It provided another opportunity to see Jon Hensley as Dr. Meade.
For a video that was supposedly deleted, the one of Liam and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) sure ended up with a bunch of copies. Ridge found a copy of the clip on Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) video camera.
