GH BYTES: It's great to have Sebastian Roche back as Jerry Jacks. I can’t wait to see his plot unfold! As I watched Ewen (Nathin Butler) opposite Jerry, it reminded me how much I wish Ewen turns out to be a Jacks. Three Jacks in Port Charles could only be a good thing.
Jerry to Ewen: “I have a more pleasant alternative. Keep your mouth shut and do as you’re told.”
Jason (Steve Burton) expressed his concern about Ewen to Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). She tried to assuage his concerns, but he didn’t seem convinced. The pair shared some wonderful moments together before Ewen showed up. Jason pulled Ewen aside and gave him a warning not to hurt Elizabeth.
John McBain (Michael Easton) punched the hell out of Todd (Roger Howarth) for sending the photo to Natalie (Melissa Archer). Of course, Sam (Kelly Monaco) was there to pull him off his nemesis.
Starr (Kristen Alderson) and Trey (Erik Valdez) compared horror stories about their dads. Trey wants to believe his dad is innocent, much like Starr has wanted to believe in Todd so many times. Nice use of Starr and Todd's history. Now can we get a Johnny/Starr/Trey triangle?
Y&R BYTES: Despite Victor (Eric Braeden) being MIA, Sharon (Sharon Case) threw herself a wedding reception. A drunken Sharon, along with Tucker (Stephen Nichols), then headed over to the Abbott house. Fed up with her former daughter-in-law, Nikki pushed the sloshed Sharon into the pool! I always love a good drunk on soaps.
Question: Would Sharon still get the money from the prenup had she actually slept with Tucker (Stephen Nichols)? For some reason I doubt it.
Paul (Doug Davidson) begged Cricket (Lauralee Bell) to submit a guilty plea on his behalf.
Dr. Tim (Aaron Lustig) may not have been killed by Ricky (Peter Porte), but the way his blackmail attempt of Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) is going, I suspect he just might end up in a body bag yet.
I'm already missing Eileen Davidson on The Young and the Restless.
B&B BYTES: Thomas (Adam Gregory) and Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) rushed to enter new evidence proving Marcus (Texas Battle) didn’t hit Anthony. We just endured a multi-week PSA about texting while driving, only to find out that didn't cause the accident? Pathetic.
Thomas: “This whole case is about to be blown open.”
When he was proven not guilty, Marcus burst into tears of joy in Dayzee’s (Kristolyn Lloyd) arms. I'd burst into tears if this soap opera started providing us with decent storylines again.
