DAYS BYTES: Days of our Lives kicked off Tuesday’s episode with Sonny (Freddie Smith) kissing Will (Chandler Massey). Unfortunately, Will wasn’t hot in the pants for Sonny.
Will made it clear he hadn’t given Sonny a green light to kiss him. Hurt, Sonny unleashed on Will, accusing him of pretending to be straight. If you’re a regular reader of Soap Bytes you know I’m not in favor of a Will and Sonny pairing. I don’t think they share any romantic chemistry. However, both actors certainly provided good soap on Tuesday.
Will: “So I’m not filling up my social calendar enough for you?”
It was obvious Sonny had feelings for Will, but when confronted he claimed he kissed Will because they’re friends? If you ask me, Sonny is in as much denial as he claims Will is.
Later, Wil went to visit Marlena (Deidre Hall), which is always a treat for viewers.
Ian (Ian Buchanan) and EJ (James Scott) chewed up enough scenery to run a riding lawn mower out of gas. Stefano's (Joseph Mascolo) Silence of the Lambs mask didn't help matters.
The biggest "shocker" of the episode was Ian's revelation that Stefano and EJ were in fact father and son.
Earlier this week we watched EJ and Sami (Alison Sweeney) make out. On Tuesday she was handcuffed to a chair by Rafe (Galen Gering), having flashbacks about their past. It appears the EJ/Sami/Rafe triangle could be in full swing again soon. No matter who Sami is paired with, I always find myself becoming invested. Whether it be Lumi, EJami or Rafe, I'm just a sucker for Sami.
Why was Nicole (Arianne Zucker) dolling herself up for Daniel (Shawn Christian)? He isn’t worth the effort. I pray Nicole won't end up in a triangle with Daniel and Nicole (Melissa Reeves).
Y&R BYTES: Adam (Michael Muhney) confronted Sharon (Sharon Case) about letting Tucker (Stephen Nichols) pull her corporate strings at Newman Enterprises. The argument quickly devolved into a personal fight, during which Sharon revealed she knew Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) were trying to get pregnant. Case and Co. are working their butts off trying to salvage this preposterous storyline.
Kevin (Greg Rikaart) lied to Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) about where he was the night before. Why does Kevin always gets pulled into The Young and the Restless’ worst storylines?
Ronan (Jeff Branson) steamily questioned Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) about Tim’s (Aaron Lustig) death. Nick (Joshua Morrow), who?
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kyle (Blake Hood) had some nice father/son bonding scenes, as Kyle helped his dad with his physical therapy. Hopefully their relationship can be repaired.
B&B BYTES: Liam (Scott Clifton) gallantly tried to save his latest wedding to Hope (Kimberly Matula), who had learned about his wild night with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). It was fun to see the Forrester, Spencer and Logan clans looked down their collective noses at Liam.
Hope: “I do love you, Liam, but you don’t deserve me.”
Hope: “You are not ready to be a husband.”
Liam: “Yes I am.”
Hope: “Not mine.”
After a heart-to-heart with Taylor (Hunter Tylo), Steffy was left alone to face Hope's wrath.
Heather Tom delivered the best moment of Tuesday’s The Bold and the Beautiful, when she ripped into Liam for stringing Hope and Steffy along.
Later, Bill (Don Diamont) and Liam got into a fight over Liam’s behavior. Unfortunately for Liam, he ended up in a headlock by his father.
Summary: Liam is pathetic.
GH BYTES: Kate (Kelly Sullivan) found out from Sonny (Maurice Benard) that Joe Jr. (Richard Steinmetz) is out of prison.
Kristina revealed to Molly (Haley Pullos) that she and Trey (Erik Valdez) are getting married, but swore her sister to secrecy.
While talking to Johnny (Brandon Barash), Starr (Kristen Alderson) flashed back to her conversation with Trey and his expression when she touched on a possible connection between his dad and Sonny. Will Starr figure everything out?
At the hospital, Carly (Laura Wright) and Todd (Roger Howarth) discussed her daughter’s medical condition. While they were talking, he spilled the beans that Johnny was responsible for his granddaughter’s death. Carly didn’t believe it and Todd quickly covered. Later, Todd decided to get Kate to confess.
Lulu (Julie Marie Berman) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) found out she isn’t pregnant. How soon until the Spencer-Falconeri's start trying to get knocked up for real this time?
