EJ (James Scott) arrived at Jennifer’s (Melissa Reeves) house and accused her of killing his child. When Jennifer denied pushing Nicole (Arianne Zucker) down the stairs, EJ vehemently responded there were two witnesses who had seen her do it. The situation escalated, but was interrupted by the arrival of Hope (Kristian Alfonso). Hope promptly told EJ to get out. Later, she confided in Jennifer that she believes her story.
Marlena (Deidre Hall) scrambled to find her phone, so she could warn John (Drake Hogestyn) of Kristen’s (Eileen Davison) return. However, John had his calls stopped and was intercepted by Kristen. When he saw Kristen, John picked up the phone to call Roman (Josh Taylor) and have her thrown in jail. Just as John was about to manhandle Kristen, Marlena arrived to warn him.
Kristen zipped across town to talk with her little brother EJ. She told him she had a lot to offer, but he said he didn’t need her help.
At Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) house, Lucas (Bryan Datillo) found out the baby wasn’t Rafe’s (Galen Gering). When he learned the child was EJ’s, he told Sami he knew there had been something wrong with the story. Sami complained about Rafe continually lying to her. Considering how many times Sami has lied to everyone in Salem, it was like the pot calling the kettle black. Lucas called Sami on her hypocrisy.
Meanwhile at Nicole’s bedside, Daniel (Shawn Christian) and Rafe reassured her they would protect her from EJ. EJ arrived and told the trio he would not be pressing charges and they should all move on. For some reason, I seriously doubt EJ is going to move on. Rafe certainly didn't believe him.
