New Daytime Emmy Rules and Guidelines Coming "In a Week or Two"

It's that time of year again. No, I'm not talking about the holidays; I mean Daytime Emmy season! NATAS just issued a release updating the schedule for the 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. The memo also welcomed new Senior Executive Director David Michaels to the team.

Are you ready to start kvetching over who absolutely must make the list of pre-noms this year? Read the entire press release after the jump!

We are proud to welcome David Michaels.  In his position as Senior Executive Director, he joins the Daytime Emmy Awards administrative team of Brent Stanton and Luke Smith.

We will be posting the new Daytime Rules and Submission Guidelines along with deadlines in a week or two.  The documents will be posted at the Daytime Online administrative site on the Downloads page (which can be found on the left hand side of the page).  The Daytime Online system will be open to accept entries and judging registration at the beginning of December.

NOTE:  The deadline to complete the online “paperwork” to enter the contest is December 31, 2012.  The deadline to register to become a judge is January 31, 2013.  In order to judge, please ensure that your membership in ATAS or NATAS is current and active by this time.
