The Bold and the Beautiful kicked off Tuesday’s episode with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) spotting Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Kimberly Matula) in bed together. Crying, Steffy drove away as we watched even more flashbacks of her and Liam together. Liam eventually stopped making out with Hope, saying it wasn’t right. Hope tried to convince him they should be together.
I am absolutely convinced B&B writes one page, two max, of original dialogue and scenes per week for each storyline. It then stretches that one page out over five days, by recycling the same dialogue over and over and cramming flashbacks from the previous day, week, month or year in between like packing peanuts. I’m sure it must BE part of an eco friendly campaign to cut down on paper. Imagine all the trees B&B helped save in 2012 alone.
At Forrester, Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) arrived just as Eric (John McCook) was about to name the new head of Forrester Creations. Eric was a bit of a windbag, going on and on about how important his decision was. He told Rick (Jacob Young) and Thomas (Adam Gregory) how proud he was of both of them.
Thomas was furious when Eric named Rick president of Forrester. He lashed out, reminding everyone that his grandmother promised him her shares.
Boy am I glad Eric chose Rick. If I would have had to watch that smug, wet-behind-the-ears Thomas lording his position for one more episode, I would have screamed at my TV.
Taylor (Hunter Tylo) told Steffy she’d seen the pregnancy test. Steffy told her mother she couldn’t tell anyone, but Taylor didn’t seem all that inclined to listen. What else is new?
