Detective Chavez Hits on Abby Newman on The Young and the Restless
Michael (Christian LeBlanc), Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Fen (Max Ehrich) handled the power outage to the best of their abilities. Meanwhile, Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Carmine (Marco Dapper) gave into their attraction and kissed.
Abby (Marcy Rylan) arrived at Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) club and ordered a dirty martini. Detective Chavez (Ignacio Serricchio) was at the bar, and started to hit on the Naked Heiress. With her ex-boyfriend Carmine playing tonsil hockey with Lauren, it’s good someone else is interested in Abby. I hope the potential couple gets a slow build, and not a quick hop, skip and jump into bed. The one thing I didn’t understand from their scene was Abby’s mention of mooching off her mom. She won 500 million dollars from her daddy. She doesn’t need to mooch off her mom.
Adam (Michael Muhney) and Sharon (Sharon Case) started to make out on the couch, but stopped themselves from having sex.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) showed up at Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) hotel room, and pretended to be room service to get her to open the door. As they talked, she realized she needed to go see Adam and tell him about the pregnancy test she’d taken. However, when she arrived at her old home, she discovered Adam with Sharon. Instead of telling Adam the truth, Chelsea gave her wedding ring back to him.
Stuck in her car, Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) couldn’t get reception on her cell phone. Adriana (Jhoanna Flores) stopped and offered her a ride home. After dropping Katherine off, Adriana went to Underground and gave Detective Chavez the money.
At Avery’s (Jessica Collins) apartment, she and Dylan (Steve Burton) kissed as Nick popped up outside her door. The two men did a bit of chest beating before Nick left. Avery quickly informed Dylan she’d said goodbye long ago, and gave herself permission to move on from him.
Tyler (Redaric Williams) tried to reassure Lily (Christel Khalil) her children would be fine. When Lily finally returned home, she discovered her children were sleeping peacefully. However, she and Cane got into a fight when his jealousy of Tyler bubbled up. He asked if she cheated on him with Daniel, (Michael Graziadei) when they were separated and contemplating divorce. She wouldn’t say yes or no, which Cane took as a yes.
