Sami (Alison Sweeney) wasn’t happy when Will (Chandler Massey) told her Gabi (Camila Banus) hadn’t taken a paternity test yet. Will went so far as to defend Gabi and Nick (Blake Berris) to Sami. If only he knew what Nick was planning.
At The Brady Pub, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) overheard Gabi asking her doctor about getting a paternity test. When Julie found out what was going on she immediately realized that Sami was behind it. Julie pointed out—which I loved—that she and Sami had a lot in common. Julie arrived at Sami’s office and said “Sami dear, you and I need to talk.”
Will watched on the sideline as the two battle axes went toe-to-toe. Their scenes were the best part of Wednesday’s Days of Our Lives. I loved how Sami pretended to give in, but after Julie and Will left, she quickly hurried off to pull a few tricks out of her playbook.
Arriving at The Brady Pub, Sami demanded to know why Gabi hadn’t taken a paternity test. Gabi said she didn’t want to do anything dangerous and shared that Julie said a paternity test could be. Sami told Gabi that Julie didn’t know what she was talking about and the last time she'd needed a paternity test was during the Nixon administration.
Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) ran into Abe (James Reynolds) and Theo while trying to catch up with Daniel (Shawn Christian). By the time she was done talking to them, Daniel and Parker had disappeared. Of course who should she bump into next, but Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). The two quickly started arguing about Daniel.
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) told Rafe (Galen Gering) she was leaving town. He tried to convince her to stay in Salem, but quickly realized her plan was because of Eric (Greg Vaughan).
Eric and Nicole later dealt with a druggie mugger. The encounter left Sami's twin unconscious.
Daniel and Jennifer made up, but when she told him he needed to cut off contact with Chloe, he balked.
