Monday's episode of The Young and the Restless opened with Billy Miller talking about his popular character Billy Abbott. It was so nice to see Billy and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) scenes.I was a big fan of that pairing. I'm sure the Villy's scenes were great for Daytime Confidential's Jamey Giddens, but the couple has never been my cup of tea.
The Newman clan quickly apprehended Adam's (Michael Muhney) shooter. Nick (Joshua Morrow) demanded to know who he was and why he recognized him. The assassin teased that they'd all be dead soon. Billy (Billy Miller) smelled gas in the house and quickly shouted for everyone to get out.
While most of the family evacuated, Victor (Eric Braeden) stayed with Adam. Of course Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) wasn't going to leave her hubby in the house.
Billy miraculously stopped the bomb from exploding, with just 20 seconds to spare. Maybe he took an explosives class in between all of the gambling and whoring around he did in the Orient?
After reading Kyle (Blake Hood) the riot act about Summer (Hunter King) being shirtless in Jack's (Peter Bergman) office, Phyllis confronted her daughter. She told Summer she knew what she was up to and she wasn't going to get away with it.
The most ironic part of the episode was Sharon (Sharon Case) giving Noah (Robert Adamson) advice about his sex life. That was rich. Later, Noah ran into Summer at Crimson Lights and the two compared notes about their meddling mothers.
Sharon rushed to the hospital, after learning Adam had been shot. She watched as her—dare I say it— true love was wheeled into surgery.
