Wednesday's The Young and the Restless opened with Doug Davidson talking about Paul Williams, his many loves and losses.  He proudly reminded fans of his in-show photo spread. While I enjoyed the segment, the best part was Lauren's (Tracey Bregman) various 1980's hairstyles. I really think Y&R needs to figure out a way to bring back Peter Porte as Paul's son Ricky.

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) revealed to Jack (Peter Bergman) why they didn't go on their trip.  They decided that Summer (Hunter King) would be moved to the fashion division in order to avoid a "cross the line" conflict.

Leslie (Angell Conwell) visited her dad in jail on the day she was supposed to testify in his case. Tyler (Redaric Williams) showed up, but revealed he was testifying against their father.

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) talked about Adam (Michael Muhney). Nikki noted how similar Victor and his son are.

Sharon (Sharon Case) was in his hospital room when Adam woke up. Adam asked Sharon to run Newman Enterprises so that Victor couldn't steal it. The doctor rushed in, as Adam started having a seizure. Sharon was heartbroken when she learned a blood clot had moved to Adam's brain, causing him to again lose consciousness.

Paul (Doug Davidson) and Chavez (Ignacio Serricchio) spent a bunch of time trying to figure out who attempted to kill Victor. Congressman Wheeler (Mark Pinter) dropped by the GCPD to check on the status of the investigation, just as his hitman was brought up from his cell.

The best part of Wednesday's episode of The Young and the Restless was Jack calling Victor out at the Newman ranch. He arrived at Victor's door and ripped into him, even bringing up Colleen's (Tammin Sursok) death. Jack vs. Victor moments are almost as good as Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) vs. Jill (Jess Walton) scenes.
