All My Children creator Agnes Nixon and TOLN are giving Northwestern University students the chance to pen a script for All My Children as part of the annual Agnes Nixon Playwriting Festival, TOLN has announced.

Prospect Park co-founder Jeff Kwatinetz, a Northwestern alumnus, and Barbara O’Keefe, Dean, Northwestern University School of Communication, announced today that the writing winners for this year's festival will be given the opportunity to craft a script for Nixon's iconic serial drama "All My Children" which will relaunch online on April 29th along with the popular drama "One Life To Live." Emmy Award winner Agnes Nixon, a soap opera pioneer, is a creative consultant on both programs.

According to the Chicago Tribune, “the students will each be paid $1,500 for their efforts and receive a professional writing credit on the episode.”

Both Nixon and Prospect Park’s Jeff Kwatinetz are Northwestern alum.
