Jesse (Darnell Williams) and Zach (Thorsten Kaye) spent more time super sleuthing, in their search for Cassandra (Saleisha Stowers). Zach told Jesse the sex traders usually shipped the girls out in a matter of days. In light of how quickly All My Children is moving, Jesse and Zach don’t have much time.
Meanwhile, Cassandra was still tied up to the bed. Her captor’s boss arrived and told him she needed to be with the other merchandise. The boss went into her room and apologized for his henchman’s behavior. He unlocked her handcuffs and offered to take care of her — if she’d trust him. He told her to take a pill, which she swallowed.
Miranda (Denyse Tontz) woke up in AJ’s (Eric Nelsen) bed mortified about what had happened to her at Jane’s Addiction. Bianca (Eden Riegel) was downstairs talking to Adam (David Canary) about the incident. She then went up to see her daughter.
AJ left Miranda and went downstairs, where Adam revealed he'd been suspended. How exactly can a school suspend a student over an incident that didn’t take place during school hours or on school property?
We discussed on the Daytime Confidential podcast how odd it is that AJ and Miranda—the richest kids in town—are the ones attending public school—while orphan Celia (Jordan Lane Price) graduated from a private school. Maybe they're getting ready to address this, as Miranda asked Bianca to let her transfer to Brownwell.
Dixie (Cady McClain) woke up at JR’s (Ryan Bittle) bedside. Later, Adam visited their comatose son. The elder Chandler told JR what a disappointment he was, not realizing Dixe was listening.
Adam's ex-wife ripped into him for speaking ill of JR. She also informed him David (Vincent Irizarry) was back in Pine Valley. At first, this only concerned Adam because of AJ. Eventually, Dixie got through to Adam, who broke down over his love for JR.
Brooke noticed the flowers when she stopped by Celia's room. The young man revealed they were from Pete Cortlandt.
Later, Pete asked Celia out for dinner. She agreed, but returned to Jane's Addiction in time to hear Pete's friend bragging about the app developer taking Celia's “V card”.
