Thursday’s episode of All My Children opened with JR (Ryan Bittle) waking up and talking to Dixie (Cady McClain), who wept tears of joy. While Angie (Debbi Morgan) looked him over, Dixie told JR he’d been in a coma for five years.
Angie left JR’s room and bumped into David (Vincent Irizarry), who wanted to know if JR was awake. David wasn't happy about his former son-in-law's progress.
Cara (Lindsay Hartley) explained to Griffin (Jordi Vilasuso) that she’d told David a story about the baby, but he didn’t believe it. Just as Cara was telling her brother David would never find out the truth, David walked into the room. This seems to be happening a lot. David demanded to know what really happened to the child. When Cara didn't answer, he leapt to the conclusion she'd had an abortion.
Cassandra’s (Saleisha Stowers) captors threw two more girls into the room with her. They had bruises and were obviously on drugs. One of the girls asked Cassandra if she had any. The man who had beaten up Cassandra came into the room and grabbed her. He told her it was time for her to earn her keep.
AJ (Eric Nelsen) surprised Miranda (Denyse Tontz) with rose petals leading upstairs to a box on his bed. In the box was a prom-style gown. She said she wasn't going to the school dance, to which he replied neither was he. He instructed her to put on the dress and meet him downstairs. AJ had arranged for Hot Chelle Rae to perform their song “Hung Up” in the Chandler living room. I guess Chandler Enterprises being bankrupt doesn't affect AJ's allowance.
Jesse (Darnell Williams) and Zach (Thorsten Kaye) found a drugged up girl in a dumpster behind the nail salon. They pulled her out, then rushed to get her help. Jesse realized he had to tell his wife the truth about her daughter.
Cassandra's Parisian roomate informed Angie the young woman had left Paris three days ago. By the time Jesse arrived, Angie was already desperate to know what was going on with her kid.
Pete (Robert Scott Wilson) and Celia (Jordan lane Prince) had a nasty confrontation over her standing him up. Celia told him she'd heard him talking about her "V card". He admitted his vulgar friend had been making those jokes, but he wasn't like that. Celia agreed to give Pete another chance and even let him sneak into her dorm room.
