Is any child safe on The Bold and the Beautiful? First Maya’s (Karla Mosley) dies is a car crash, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) loses her unborn child to a motorcycle mishap and now even the beloved Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) has a miscarriage. Usually the over fifty crowd needs to be concerned for their safety, not the five belows.
At any rate, this miscarriage at least puts an end to Brooke’s seduction of Eric (John McCook). I couldn’t handle much more of her ridiculous plan. I did want to throw a bone where I normally wouldn’t. I enjoyed Brooke’s attempt at coming clean with Katie (Heather Tom) and Bill (Don Diamont). I found Brooke’s unraveling rather enjoying and it almost felt that Bill was walking a fine line in the hospital afterwards. Could we eventually see Bill threaten Brooke should the secret eat at her anymore?
Heather Tom has been ah-mazing. The way Katie handled Hope (Kim Matula) with kid gloves while we once again suffered through Hope’s unrealistic rationalizations. I can’t express enough how much I want to reach into my television and smack this girl. Back off the grieving couple, please. Thank God Katie told her as much, in a very ‘I’m your Aunt and want you happy’ kind of way.
Obviously Jacqueline MacInnes Wood needed to be written out somehow. Do I like the idea of sending Steffy off to Paris yet again? Not really and Hope, as previously stated, is not on my good side. Steffy throwing them together because Hope can bear a child is not the key to making me like her. I get it, Hope really loves Liam (Scott Clifton), but he loves Steffy too and why these ladies feel they can decide his life is baffling.
Don’t even get me started on the Jailhouse photo shoot with Maya. I just can’t.
