The Young and the Restless opened with Dyldumb (Steve Burton) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) leaving Lamaze class. Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) interrupted them by saying she had an emergency and needed Chelsea’s help. The emergency turned out to be Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) blackmail. As much as I loathe Chelsea and Dyldumb, I do like Chelsea and Chloe’s screwed up dynamic.
At Billy’s (Billy Miller) restaurant, Lucky Charms (Erin Chambers) brought him the legal papers they were going to use to nail Adam (Michael Muhney) for him to review.
Adam (Michael Muhney) returned to the party to discover almost everyone gone. Victoria told him what happened to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), so he hurried off to support his BFF Jack (Peter Bergman).
Phyllis’ family waited at the hospital for the latest news on how she was doing. Avery (Jessica Collins) and Jack spent a bunch of time talking about Phyllis in fighting mode. The best part was Jack’s memories. In fact Jack was pretty much the best part of the entire episode. Avery left to go get coffee.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) went to find Summer (Hunter King). She immediately began to freak out at the news Phyllis was in surgery.
Adam arrived at the hospital to discover Jack experiencing a serious case of denial about Phyllis’ condition. Victoria showed up and manipulated Chelsea and Chloe, but if you asked me she came across as a limp noodle.
Avery arrived at Crimson Lights. Dyldumb immediately realized she was upset. He tried to be a shoulder for her to lean on. He told her that she’d help Phyllis through everything.
Victoria showed up at Billy’s restaurant and told him that Jack needed him.
