It's hard to believe HBO's True Blood is once again heading toward a season finale. We at Daytime Confidential want to give Truebie fans something to sink their fangs into! At the recent Comic Con panel for the show, newly-appointed executive producer Brian Buckner revealed Season 6 would end “awesomely” and promised the show would return to its roots.

“We’re going to try to condense the number of stories we’re telling and make this really feel like we’re coming home," said Buckner. "I feel like this show is ultimately about the relationship between vampires and humans, and it’s about this town. I wanna bring it in a little bit. Not to discount Charlaine [Harris]‘ books at all, but my hope is to get all these people we love living under this one story and one threat. Really just make it about this small town we’ve all come to know and love.”

Anna Paquin is happy her character, Sookie Stackhouse, is much more fearless this season.

"She's not being anyone's doormat. She's sick of taking whatever from whomever," Paquin said. "She's more independent, strong and tough. I feel like she's actually finally learning from all the incredibly odd, bizarre and unfortunate stuff that's happened to her."

When asked what it was like to be married to co-star Stephen Moyer—whose character, Bill Compton, everyone in Bon Temps believed had turned into God this season—Paquin quipped: “I’m agnostic, so I haven’t decided if I’m going to accept his godliness.”

EastEnders alum Rob Kazinsky, who plays fairy/vampire hybrid Warlow, gave insight into that extremely sexy shaving scene between Warlow and Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten).

“I actually thought it was a hazing to begin with,” Kazinsky said. “Ryan made me feel like a lady that day. He couldn’t have been more gentle. Not too much tongue. Just the right amount. A little peekaboo.”

anganiello also has missed his "bro-downs" with co-star, Sam Trammel. "I love the friendship between Sam and Alcide."

Rutina Wesley (Tara) feels like Tara is enjoying being a vampire much more than ever before.

"I think she loves the strength; she loves the power and she loves the blood," said Wesley.

Of her character's evolution, she said, "Tara's becoming a protector, a big sister of sorts, for other characters. I'm having a really great time doing that."

And how does fan favorite Nelsan Ellis get into character as Lafayette? “A little Rihanna and (putting on) makeup gets me to LaLaLand!” he admitted.
