Good Morning America Touts 52 Week Run as No. 1 Morning Show
Good Morning America's battle with The Today Show has been well documented, but the week of August 12 marked GMA's fifty-second consecutive week as the No. 1 morning show in total viewers. The last time GMA experienced such a run was between 1991 and 1992.
During the week of August 12, GMA topped Today by 808,000 total viewers. It beat Today in the 25-54 demo by 199,000 viewers during the same period.
