DC #741: Dead Babies and Puzzle Pieces

On today's Daytime Confidential podcast, Luke Kerr, Jamey Giddens, Jillian Bowe and Melodie Aikels dish the latest All My Children, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital and The Young and the Restless headlines and storylines, including:

Has Prospect park shelved All My Children like it did One Life to Live? What will be its excuse this time, since it can't blame it on dead Llanview characters?

Bill survives falling down a cliff and has an epiphany that he needs to abandon Brooke and run back to Katie. Bill's decision and the joke of a diamond heist are perfect examples of how The Bold and the Beautiful's writing is back to being paint-by-numbers.

Days of Our Lives rocked with the wedding revelation Kristen had raped Eric. Victor proved he is the boss, by getting Salem's residents to watch Kristen's sex tape not once, but twice!

Eileen Davidson is so important to soaps, she deserves the best contract in daytime. Has JJ's storyline saved Dr. Hairy Chest from character suicide?

Franco's art gallery opening featured shocking twists and revelations on General Hospital.  Who could have guessed Scotty was Franco's father and that all of Heather's paintings were of Kelly's sandwiches? Franco comes clean, so he has a chance with Carly. Sonny discovers Morgan betrayed him to the Jeromes.

The Young and the Restless features fantastic acting, but is the most depressing soap on TV. While Y&R has improved a bit, it still has a long way to go to be fun to watch. Jack and Jill team up to get Chancellor, which of course means Cane has to be involved.
