Sean Kanan on GH EXIT: "Panic Attacks and Relish Was Not What I Thought I'd Signed Up For"

There will be one less Quartermaine eating pizza at Thanksgiving this year. TV Guide Magazine'sMichael Logan is reporting Sean Kanan (AJ) is out at General Hospital.

Don't feel too sad, kids. The talented actor is returning to The Bold and the Beautiful to reprise the mega popular role of Deacon Sharpe! Here's an excerpt from Logan's exclusive with Kanan:

"I was utterly thrilled to be brought back to GH for the 50th anniversary and really enjoyed working with [executive producer]Frank Valentini, but I was not over the moon about the writing," Kanan says. "Doing stories about panic attacks and relish was not what I thought I'd signed up for. I feel I brought everything I could to the character yet it was obvious they weren't going to give me a great love story, which I found very disappointing."

Kanan wraps at GH on March 28—continuing to air for a few weeks following—and will be back on screen at B&B on June 13.
