What if children suddenly stopped being born? In fact, no little bundle of joy and future college tuition bills has entered the cruel, cruel world in five years. That's the premise behind Lifetime's new summer series The Lottery, starring The Young and the Restless grad Michael Graziadei (ex-Daniel).
After five years with no births, a dystopian version of the United States holds a national lottery to establish which women will carry 100 newly-fertilized embryos. Michael Graziadei plays Kyle, a single father and recovering alcoholic, who is the parent of one of the last children born.
The Lottery debuts July 20 at 10 pm EST on Lifetime.
