Soap alums Jack Wagner, Antonio Sabato, Jr and Jamie Luner are bringing sudsy drama to Investigation Discovery's (ID) new series Heartbreakers. Popular daytime and primetime stars will help reenact stories based on real-life people who got caught up in dangerous love affairs.
In the Aug. 13 series premiere, Wagner stars as David "Brother" Love, a pastor of a tight knit community church outside of Kansas City. The charismatic preacher is adored by his parishioners, especially Randy Stone (Rob Estes), whose wife Teresa (Luner) becomes involved in a deadly affair with the good pastor!
The Brady Bunch's Christopher Knight stars as Hurley Fontenot in the Aug. 20 episode. A junior high school principal in Texas, Fontenot ditches his wife to take up with the new young clerk, Laura Nugent (Tracey Gold).
The couple's relationship is thriving until the new football coach, Billy Mac Fleming (Sabato) catches Laura's eye. The men battle it out for Laura's heart, but one of them doesn't survive.
Heartbreakers debuts Aug. 13 at 10 pm EST on ID.
