Alison Sweeney on General Hospital Directorial Debut: "It's A Very Different Show Than DAYS"


Budding entertainment mogul Alison Sweeney's General Hospital directorial debut aired this past Friday. Was calling "ACTION!" and yelling "CUT!" on the set of the ABC Daytime sudser a different experience for the actress/author/director, who cut her showbiz teeth as Sami Brady on NBC's Days of Our Lives? Here's what Sweeney told Soap Opera Digest:

"It's a very different show than DAYS. It's such a different script, different storylines and is constructed differently. I think GH has a different tone, which I knew a little bit having watched Kirsten [Storms, Maxie; ex-Belle, DAYS] and some of Michelle's [Stafford, Nina] first scenes."
