Nicollette Sheridan won't be getting another day in court regarding her firing from Desperate Housewives. A three-judge panel of the California 2nd District Court of Appeals overturned L.A. Superior Court Judge Michael Stern's ruling granting Sheridan a motion for reconsideration.
In January 2014, Stern reversed his original dismissal of the case, allowing Sheridan to seek another trial. Sheridan initially sued former boss Marc Cherry and Touchstone in 2010, claiming sexual harassment, assault and wrongful termination. Those claims were later reduced to wrongful termination.
In 2009, Edie Britt, the neighborhood sex kitten Sheridan portrayed on Desperate Housewives, was killed off the long-running dramedy. Sheridan, who shot to fame as Paige Mathison in the late 80's/early 90's on Knots Landing, was only supposed to be in a couple of episodes during Desperate Housewives' first season. Her character proved such a hit, she was made a regular.
