Pretty Little Liars Recap: "No One Here Can Love or Understand Me"
A huge revelation came out on this week’s Pretty Little Liars, while Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) came clean, and two former enemies may have called a truce.
“A” intimidated the girls into not bringing their evidence against Alison (Sasha Pieterse) to the police. Emily (Shay Mitchell) thought maybe the message could really be from Alison. She went to Ezra (Ian Harding) and asked him to investigate Cyrus, who Ali lied to the cops about kidnapping her before he skipped town.
Melissa (Torrey DeVitto) finally came clean! She videotaped a confession for Spencer (Troian Bellisario) about what happened the night Ali went missing. Melissa had seen her sister with a shovel, and thought she killed Ali. So, she pushed the body into a grave and buried it—only it was actually Bethany, and she buried the poor girl alive.

What’s awesome was that the girls, and viewers, finally have a concrete answer about one of PLL’s zillion mysteries. However, it wasn’t smart for Melissa to tape a murder confession. You know “A” will probably use it against her or Spencer at some point.
Melissa was safe and out of the country now, but the Rosewood cops revealed they thought the girls might be behind Bethany’s death.
Caleb had been self-medicating his PTSD with his drinking because of the deadly supernatural shenanigans that occurred while he was in Ravenswood. It wasn’t working anymore, and he finally broke down in Hanna’s (Ashley Benson) arms and told her everything. His supportive girlfriend was naturally spooked.
Aria (Lucy Hale) and Mona (Janel Parrish) clashed over her dating her brother. However, later they had a heart-to-heart. Was Mona genuinely reaching out, or was she the person leaking to the cops about the girls lying about Ali’s kidnapping?
Stuff actually happened this week, which was great. Also, Ali was MIA which made the episode even better. What did you readers think?
