John Stamos made ladies swoon in the 80's as Blackie Parrish on General Hospital. He remained lust-worthy, while making kids laugh in the 90's as "Uncle Jesse" on Full House. It looks like he's finally ready to reprise one of his two iconic roles.
TV Guide is reporting a Full House reunion is in the works! The sitcom, about a widower, who enlists the help of his brother-in-law and best friend to help raise his three mother-less daughters, is still popular in re-runs. This has Warner Bros. hoping to cash in on a little nostalgia and cheap belly laughs.
Stamos, who has an ownership stake in Full House, is leading the charge to resurrect the series. Candace Cameron Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie), Andrea Barber (Kimmy), Bob Saget (Danny) and Dave Coulier (Joey) have also shown interest in reprising their roles.
Unfortunately, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who shared the role of Michelle, are not expected to be involved. Since the show went off the air, the Olsen twins have gone on to build a billion-dollar fashion empire.
Creator Jeff Franklin is penning the new version. Original executive producer Bob Boyett will also return behind-the-scenes.
