Well, it's good to know Chuck Pratt is still a classy guy! He doesn't officially start at The Young and the Restless until Nov. 1, according to my sources, but he's already changed his Twitter profile (see above) to reflect his new gig(s) atop the number one soap opera in daytime television.
So what does that make Shelly Altman and Jean Passanante, his placeholders? Who wants to take bets on how long before Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is holding up Victoria's (Amelia Heinle) baby, following a Pratt-astrophic, CGI disaster? In all seriousness, I sincerely hope we get the Pratt who wrote addictive, guilty pleasure television for shows like Melrose Place, as opposed to the Pratt who offered up nothing but sheer hackery and arrogant, ass-hat interviews during his tenure dismantling All My Children.
