Jennifer Finnigan's Tyrant Renewed For Second Season!

Tyrant, starring The Bold and the Beautiful grad Jennifer Finnigan (ex-Bridget Forrester), has been renewed for a second season!

According to The Wrap, FX has ordered a 13-episode second season of the drama set in the middle east. On Tyrant,–which was one of my favorite new series of the summer–Finnigan portrays Molly Al-Fayeed, the American wife of Barry Al-Fayeed (Adam Rayner).

In Tyrant's first season Barry and his family returned to the fictional middle eastern country where he was born and his father was a dictator. After his father's death, Barry is pulled into his homeland's intrigue and attempts to overthrow his older brother who is now the country's dictator.

In case you haven't watched Tyrant I won't spoil what happens. Let's just say the Al-Fayeed family feud can give the war between the Ewings and Barnes clans on Dallas a run for their money.
