The CW's The Vampire Diaries and Reign returned last night to disappointing numbers.
The blood-sucking drama had 1.8 million total viewers tune in, and a 0.9 demo rating. This was down 30 and 25 percent respectively from last year’s premiere. Reign’s second season followed with 1.3 million and a 0.4 rating. This was 35 and 50 percent respectively less than its freshman premiere.
