Wishful Casting: All My Children 2.0's Breakout Star Brooke Newton as Bold and Beautiful's Hope

I'm going to miss the fudge out of Kim Matula on The Bold and the Beautiful. The blonde beauty served up old school soap glam and aspirational angst for almost five years as Hope Logan Spencer.

As Matula spreads her proverbial wings (and gears up for pilot season), the gaping hole she leaves on B&B must be filled. I think Brooke Newton, who sizzled as heiress Colby Chandler on the web version of All My Children, would be the perfect actress to re-imagine the product of Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and son-in-law Deacon Sharpe's (Sean Kanan) scandalous tryst.

Hope should have a bit more edge when she returns from Milan. The style icon's unborn child was an accidental casualty of Hope's ongoing war with her unstable mother-in-law.

Newton as Hope could return vowing to take control of her life, by vanquishing Quinn (Rena Sofer) once and for all. Hope could also be a stronger ally to her brother Rick (Jacob Young) in the battle for control of Forrester Creations. Like Newton, Young once played a Chandler offspring on All My Kids.

Of course Hope's central role on B&B is as the epicenter of Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Liam Spencer's (Scott Clifton) lives. I doubt Newton's version of Ms. Logan would have any problem facing off with Cousin Koala aka Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) and/or Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), as she stakes claim to the two men who belong to her.

Who do you think The Bold and the Beautiful should cast as Hope Logan? Sound off in the comments!
