Webisoap Buzz: Melody Thomas Scott Joins Youthful Daze; Anacostia Returns and The Bay Wraps Latest Chapter
A lot is going on in the world of webisoaps! More and more daytime soap stars and alums are signing on board to independently produced online serials.
The Young and the Restless superstar Melody Thomas Scott is on the mend and booking new gigs! The soap queen has been cast as a WASP schemer on Youthful Daze. Thomas Scott is set to portray Nicole Wallace, mother of the villainous Randy Milhouse (Reese Mishler) on the webisoap.
"I'm bringing Melody on to drive story, and I am excited to have her carry out a conclusion of sorts, to a huge arc on the overall series," said series creator and star Bryan James (Drew). "It's a very exciting time for the show. The show is something no soap fan should miss out on. We have new episodes online every single week.
