Soap opera superstar Genie Francis has a new gig. The General Hospital legend has signed on to be a spokesperson for Nutrisystem. According to a press release, she lost 30 pounds on the program in seven months.
"I've always been an emotional eater. I use food to comfort myself. It's been an ongoing problem in my life," said Francis in the release. "But the biggest part of the problem was that before, in order lose weight, I would do extreme diets and starve. The good thing about Nutrisystem is that I'm more at peace with food."
This isn't the first go around as a diet spokesperson for Francis, who in addition to GH, appeared on soap operas The Young and the Restless, All My Children, Loving and Days of Our Lives. She was previously the spokesperson for Medifast.
