The Talk Dethrones The View In Weekly Viewers For First Time
The ladies of The Talk have ascended to the network daytime talk ratings throne. The CBS Daytime talk show beat ABC's The View in viewers for the first time since it premiered in 2010. The Talk tied The View in key female demos, according to the Nielsen ratings.
The Talk has only grown stronger over the years, as the chemistry between Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood has gelled. The show has also benefited from the steady hand of Angelica McDaniel, who has successfully strengthened the network's brand and cross-promoted The Talk and CBS Daytime's soaps and game shows.
