Eileen Davidson is a woman in demand. As if being on The Young and the Restless and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills wasn't enough to keep her busy, Days of Our Lives wanted her back.
However, the visit won't be for as long as DAYS fans might like and for less episodes than Davidson expected.
In an interview with TV Guide Magazine's Michael Logan, Davidson dishes about her return to Salem and her surprise at how short of a visit it is.
Did any of this slowdown in plot have to do with your going back to Days? No, that wasn't the problem. It was more about the head writer change at Y&R, I think. This time I'm only back on Days for a very short time—10 episodes, which only took a few days to shoot. Actually, I was surprised they only wanted me for that long.
Well, yeah, considering Kristen stole Theresa's fetus. That's storyline gold, and it could spin out for months. I know you're not allowed to spill but tell me anyway: Does Kristen return to Salem with a baby? God, I certainly hope so! That would be something, right? Kristen did go to a lot of trouble to make that happen. It's not like she can just come back to town and say, "Hi!"
