She wrote for daytime dramas Days of Our Lives, As The World Turns and One Life to Live. Now can Meg Kelly and her partners successfully launch an online hub for serialized dramas?
Kelly and business partner Joseph Craig have teamed up with Conklin-Intracom to launch SudsvilleTV.com, a website promising to offer all-new original programming aimed at soap opera fans. A new 40-episode sudser developed by Kelly is set to debut on SudsvilleTV.com this fall. Here's what she told Soap Opera Digest about the ambitious venture:
“These are broadcast quality shows that will star a mix of daytime, prime-time and film actors, written by daytime and prime-time Emmy winners and produced by an award-winning production team.”
Color me excited! Craig vows Kelly's soap, and various soap-themed talk and game shows created to flesh out their new hub, will be of the highest quality. He said to Digest:
"Production quality is going to be like anything you would see on Netflix or Hulu.”
Be sure to visit SudsvilleTV.com on Wednesday for more information!
