Raven-Symoné Tapped as New Co-Host of The View
Former child star Raven-Symoné can now add talk show host to her growing resume. The former That's So Raven and Cosby Show actress was named as a new co-host of The View earlier today.
Raven, who's also recurring on Fox's mega-hit Empire, has sat in a a co-host on many occasions, leading viewers and insiders alike to wonder if she would soon nab a spot on the panel.
Moderator Whoopi Goldberg broke the news today at the beginning of the show. An excited Raven remarked:
I am so happy. I remember coming on The View when I was 15 years old for The Cheetah Girls. I'm very happy to be sitting with these smart, talented mentors...Let's have some fun!
