Changes are afoot at Sony Pictures Television. Sony Entertainment Inc. CEO Michael Lynton announced today Steve Mosko has been promoted to chairman.
Mosko served as SPT's president from 2000-2015. He will continue to run Sony Entertainment Inc.'s television arm, which includes daytime dramas Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless.
Syndicated daytime game shows Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune also come from SPT. Mosko is the boss of Steve Kent, SPT's senior executive vice president for programming. Kent supervises both DAYS and Y&R.
