General Hospital star Nancy Lee Grahn has been MIA on social media since causing a national uproar by criticizing Viola Davis on Emmy night. When the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series winner quoted Harriet Tubman during her historic acceptance speech, Grahn tweeted the How to Get Away With Murder star had "never been discriminated against."
Grahn received swift backlash on Twitter and in the mainstream press. After arguing her points for the remainder of Emmy night she went silent on both Twitter and Facebook.
Monday, Grahn broke her silence on Facebook telling fans she is "fully present and alert in my life" and is "a work in progress, who hopes to continually change for the better, I want to thank my supporters and my critics, as evolving is impossible without both."
