Former As The World Turns and One Life to Live star Nathaniel Marston has passed away. He was 40. Marston died following a recent automobile accident which left him with a broken neck, five broken vertebrae, a broken shoulder and internal injuries.

On Oct. 30, Marston was driving on a Nevada highway when his truck drifted into the northbound lane and flipped over several times. Marston, who was alone in the truck, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from his truck, reported Entertainment Tonight. A preliminary police investigation surmised Marston fell asleep while driving.

Marston's mother, Elizabeth Jackson, broke the news of his demise on Facebook.

Marston portrayed Eddie Silva on ATWT from 1998-2000. He joined OLTL as Al Holden in 2001. After that character was killed off in 2003, he returned to the ABC soap as Al's lookalike Dr. Michael McBain in 2004. He remained until 2007.
